FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IATA CODE CHANGES FROM PBI TO DJT
West Palm Beach, FL (Aug. 18, 2026) – The airport code for President Donald J. Trump International Airport has officially changed from PBI to DJT, effective today. The airport’s official website is also transitioning to flydjt.org.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) code is used by airlines and passengers for flight bookings, reservations, check-ins and baggage tracking. Travelers should now use DJT when making travel arrangements or searching for the airport.
The IATA code change follows the name change of Palm Beach International Airport, which took effect July 9, 2026, as required by state law. The legislation, signed March 30, 2026, renamed the airport President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports coordinated with federal agencies, airlines and airport partners throughout the transition to support a seamless change while maintaining normal operations.
The travel experience remains the same. There is no impact to airport services, flights or passenger operations as a result of the IATA code change.
The name change does not alter ownership, governance, legal status or operational control of the airport. The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners will continue to oversee all airport policies, finances and strategic decisions.
